Typical of surfer artist types – some have left it to the last minute, some sent work from Sydney that looks like it will arrive two days late for the opening, some are completely AWOL and living in some Balinese jungle with no internet…

Anyway somehow the Wax Off – The Nouveau Surf show is almost ready to rock… The amazingly talented Wade Lewis has managed to whip up a mad mural to go with the surf theme – be there tonight 1 Hotham St, South Melbourne from 6 – 8pm to see it in person, it will blow you away –

And a limited edition (100 only) Wax Off magazine is available to purchase from Greenwood Gallery tonight too featuring the artists who managed to meet the deadline…
