Legend of guerilla Billboard painting, Ron English, has teamed up with Burton to collaborate on a limited release collection of product, which includes 2 boards, a boot and bindings. The program is part of a new initiative from Burton called ‘Burton Private Stock’.
The idea of the initiative is to produce a low run of brand driving product for 100 retailer stockists around the globe. I’m so stoked that the first cab of the rank included the freakish talent of English. If you’re not familiar with his work click here and prepare to be amazed. If you’re not, then I don’t like you anymore.
English’s works are used on the Burton Hero and women’s Blender snowboards which are both available for $400US. The collection also includes the Freezone Boot and Mission EST Binding which are different than the regular catalog offerings because they have special added features. The boot is comprised of both Freestyle and Ozone technologies and the binding features a Shredbed and Ultracap strap. Both are resonably priced at $200US.
