Rodney Smith, the man who gave birth to SHUT and all around NYC Skate lord has lent his shaping skills to the Element Shaper Program.

Rod pumped out six boards for the project, two of which are pictured above – The Shovelnose and The stinger. Smith also had the following to say about the project //

“There is a rapidly growing market for Longboards, alternative shapes and construction. This all means many different riding styles and disciplines for skaters worldwide. Johnny seemed intrigued in the position Shut is taking to meet these changes and thought to test the waters by doing a collaboration.”
