Rhythm Summer ’12

Always a bit weird with these two hemispheres and their seasons. See, right now this post is all about Summer, but not summer in Australia – but summer in the US. So don’t get too excited, unless of course, you live in the US…

For their lookbook shoot Rhythm went out to the desert with brand advocate Laura Austin to capture images for our Summer 12 Range a few months back.

Apparently caused quite a few headaches, literally and figuratively…

*heat-induced psychosis and mental instability
*the stink of rotting fish and the stab of their spines which coated the beach
*highway engulfing desert fires
*forty-eight hours upside down or without sleep however you would rather phrase it
*quasi-religious dwelling structures erected from seemingly nothing but natural ingredients
*strange glances from people in equally strange and otherwise abandoned towns

Fortunately they still scooped some stellar photos and good times. All of what you see is also available now.
