After six long years in the making, the revolutionary Red Bull Dirt Pipe became a vivid reality. Located in the pristine surroundings outside Victoria’s Mt Beauty, the riders got a taste of the 120m long, snowboard inspired dirt pipe. And the revolutionary event went off in front of a very privileged crowd of onlookers.

Basically, what we got told to expect was so far removed to what we actually saw it was a joke. When we rolled up it was kinda scary watching the guys go down the pipe. Apparently if you just nailed it down the pipe without doing any jumps you would hit about 80k’s, not for the faint hearted…
