RAEN Optics // 2010

We first touched on RAEN Optics a couple of months ago when their first range was drifting into store out here, the boys have kept busy since then keeping the roll going and are have just released their new range during the recent tradeshow season in the OC…

Their goal with the 2010 collection is to supply progressive versatility. Many of their handmade acetate frames are designed to look equally as good as a sunglass or a prescription optical , if your a four eye’s like me, this is good news.

They have kept the strong selling styles like the Casbah and the Regan in the range, while introducing new styles like the Nora, which has a classic vintage styling for the ladies, and the Lomis, which has summer fun written all over it.

Also new to the range is a piece created between Raen and Alex Knost – Flowers. This new style pays homage to the historic windsor style eyeglass and delivers a John Lennon-esque look, that if you can pull off you’ll be setting trends. But, if you can’t, your more then likely to get beaten up by your best friend’s little sister in the middle of the day…. but hey, we warned you here first..

The new range should be hitting stores early next year, maybe sooner.. Keep your eyes peeled for any ads, etc as I’m pretty sure they will be nicest looking shots out there, pretty hard to go wrong when Thomas Campbell is your staff photographer…

Check the little clip below for a quick hit on the range
