Quiksilver are dipping their toes into the high end fashion collab world with a pretty amazing first hit out with Elsom, creating a limited release collection of luxurious, hand-tailored garments for men.

The collection will consist of suiting, a naval waterman coat, two dress shirts, an organic denim jean, an organic t-shirt, a belt and neck-tie.

In between ear washes out at the rock, Quiksilver’s Mens Designer Ryan Scanlon had this to say about the collection -
“We’re really excited about this collaboration. Sam (Elsom) is renowned for the understated beauty and simplicity he brings to fashion and his dedication to sourcing the highest quality sustainable textiles is unwaivering – and that is something that is very important to Quiksilver.”

The elsom suit is expected to retail for roughly AU$1200. The collection will be distributed for sale internationally via Quiksilver’s retail outlets and be available as of March 2009. The elsom Australian handcrafted suit and organic denim jean will be available in a limited run of just 300.
