Saturdays is a surf store in in New York City, the only surf store in NYC. It serves up a collection of boards, clothes, wax (Sex Wax thank god) and a brilliant brew of coffee. So when Quiksilver wanted to launch their limited edition collection in NYC, who else was better qualified to throw the party for them?! Easy choice really, I mean, a surf store in NYC? Pretty amazing.
As one would expect when a party is thrown in NYC in the middle of summer, everyone comes out of the wood work, and from all reports there was quite the mixed bag of characters attending – surfers, fixedy freaks, lovely ladies and tall leggy models.
