Maki Longboards

We’ve been seeing a lot of people riding longboards – the skateboard variety – lately, I’m not sure whether to be scared or amped. Hopefully kids are still riding the modern version, are learning triple flips and breaking their teeth on the nearest railing. But these longboards sure do look like fun for those people who can’t skate, or just roll up to check the surf (me). These ones in particular from Maki look real nice.

Billabong Stripes.

Stripes are big right now, well anything that isn’t graphically based is pretty big right now for tee’s. Add stripes to a long sleeve tee and it’s fair chance you’re sitting on a winner. Billabong have pulled out some stripes for the coming summer winter drop in the next couple of months.

Modern Gypsy | Reef throws a party

Reef just launched a new marketing campaign, ‘Modern Gypsy’ and to help spread the awareness of the campaign they threw a party. Not just some little shitty shindig either, this was a big kick ass party (see that <, my first ass joke. Reef. Ass. Dad Joke) Held at the Reef HQ in Carlsbad, CA, Reef locked the whole joint down with over 300 guests including Mick Fanning, Xavier Rudd, industry big wigs and Sterling Spencer, who was apparently talking to Shane Dorian about male pattern baldness

The Studio | DC Life

So after seven weeks of clips, interviews and images all surrounding this new shoe from DC, we can now finally provide you with a more indepth look at it. Given that it got it’s own mkt campaign along with seven different internerd* personalities spruiking it, the shoe has to be good right? Indeed it is, The Studio is quite the shoe. An attractive silhouette mixed with premium materials leads me to believe this is the best release from DC Life in a long time.

etnies pop up in Paris

To celebrate their “Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree” project, etnies threw together a little ‘pop up’ store in the heart of Paris. Which just happens to be the hometown of etnies CEO and owner Pierre Andre Senizergues. Coincidence? Doubt it…

Kid Cudi Skateboard Deck.

Skateboard decks seem to be the go to canvas when anyone wants to extend out past tee’s. Kinda lame, kinda cool depending on the project, subjective content I guess. You might hate this, but I like it. Probably ’cause I’ve had Cudder on high rotation the last two weeks. Anyway, as you can probably already tell, this post is about a skateboard deck with Mr Rager on it.
