DMS & Kelly Slater & Batman

Not really, well sort of, I guess. The part about DMS and Slater is correct, but Batman maybe not so much. Moreso that Slater shaped a board with a crazy bat tail on it. But it got your attention no?

Anyway. Dan MacDonald got Slater into the shaping bay around Quik Pro time and gave him free reign on a creation. What’d he come up with? A  Bat Tail Bamboo Flex Surfboard – quite the mouthful…  The board looks interesting and the photos show that Slater got pretty involved in the process of it all, which is pretty neat.

And no, I highly doubt this is a change over of board sponsors for Slater. Moreso Slater was probably feeding his curiosity for surfboard design that he is so famous for. And by the looks of the board, quenched it. Wonder how it went…
