Title should be pretty self explanatory really. Work at Globe and get to design shoes – which yes, means Globe currently has a position vacant for a Shoe designer. If you’re the type of person who’d prefer to design some on trend piece of skate and lifestyle footwear’ery (new word for the day) (and like to hammer down on anyone who wears Birkenstocks) this might be an amazing opportunity for you..

It’s a unique opportunity since Globe are one of the only shoe companies designing shoes from the ground up in Australia.  The position would start as a design assistant, with the opp to really step their game up if they can show the skills needed…

Position is based in Port Melbourne, salary will depend on experience and skill but it’s a junior position with a huge opportunity for someone who loves sneakers to get into the industry.

This is roughly what they are looking for :

·         Must be very proficient with Illustrator
·         Ideally have good Photoshop skills
·         Must have a good eye for colourways, colour combinations
·         Must have a passion for sneakers, and a good understanding of brands in sneaker marketplace
