Web Nerd | Rip Curl

I can’t front on this job, if I wanted to work part time I’d be all over it. If you’d like to be part of one of the bigger digital setups within the industry this might be the perfect foot in the door job for you. So with it being along my interest lines, there will be no nerd jokes, no geek jokes, not even a four eyed joke. Why? Cause I’m all of the above haha. My new spectacles are outstanding apart from the fact they rub against my overly large ears.

But in all seriousness, Rip Curl are back with another opening in their marketing department! This time they are looking for a part time web co-ordinator, the part time thing is kinda weird given how much focus most brands are giving digital, but yeah it’s part time and all about digital. Probably a gig best suited to some nerd who is still at Uni and wants a little cash in the pocket while studying – which could lead to something more full time down the line…

We are looking for a university student to join our team as a casual Web Coordinator.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, it’s required you have:
• Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS & Javascript, XML
• Experience in the use of CMS applications
• Knowledge of Mac print publishing.

You must:
• have drive and initiative
• be high achiever
• be willing to go above and beyond
• have a passion for technology
• have an affinity with the brand & the board riding lifestyle
