Yeah, that title looks like some kind of code. And if it was code, it would translate to: ‘boat shoes with laces.’

Seriously though, what constitutes a ‘boat shoe‘, it’s all bullshit to me. You can pretty much wear anything on a boat except high heels or ski boots. You can wear cons, volleys, dunks, thongs or ever bare feet. You can sure wear some leather things with a little puckered seam detail and leather straps as well, but that doesn’t mean they’re boat shoes. Not to me anyway, and hey, I’m pretty much an expert being a blogger and all.

Anyway……no matter what you call them, these look sweet. The black ones in particular. They’re a variation of the 106 when Vans rolls out their 106 Moc CA herringbone pack as part of their California line.
