Saturdays do shoes
Was only a matter of time really… A company does well and grows really quickly, potential for new categories emerge, product extensions occur. Case in point – Saturdays have started footwear. Smart? maybe, given how everyone loves them right now they’d be silly not to capitalise…
Two styles for the debut collection. A high top. A low cut.
Mike is the high top. He could be forgotten for Chuck Taylor in the wrong light. Mike looks like he is made from canvas and has a rubber vulc’d sole underneath foot. Mike also has polka dots on the inside. Mike comes in three colorways – red, navy and black. Nice safe colors.
Jay is the low cut. He could possibly be forgotten for any number of low cut shoes these days, this style is everywhere… Jay is Mike’s shorter brother, you can tell they are brothers because of the polka dots on the inside, they are both made from canvas and that they both come in the same colors.
Odds on another brother will be added shortly, I’d imagine an adoption? Someone from an upper class, made purely from leather. Probably what Jay would want to be but can’t be…
