PRod & Nike :: Skate Dice

This is awesome. I love how Nike really get behind their athletes products/projects – obviously it’s a tad easier with the cash they have. But damn, I wish some of the brands in this industry would do shit like this. This is PRod’s 6th shoe with Nike and look what they’ve done, Slaters won 11 World Titles and all he got was an infographic….  (maybe it takes twelve titles to get something rad?)

Back to the shoes tho, Nike created this little kick ass box of awesomeness in honor of Paul’s 6th shoe release with them. Unfortunately it’s an China only release. The box, a wooden one, derp, is inspired by the number six as six is a lucky number in China – probably not when typed three times in a row tho I guess

The set up features three layers:

1/ A set of six dice. Which are used to play the game Skate Dice.
2/ The shoes themselves. Glorious looking things that they are.
3/ In the third layer sits a lovely Nike SB pillow. Zzzzzzzz

Limited to a quantity of 60, this special-edition Nike Paul Rodriguez VI will drop at select Nike Skateboarding retailers in China on July 14th.
