Nike Lunar Safari Fuse+
The Nike Safari has been around since 1987, that’s a long time. Longer still if you consider how good the shoe looks – imagine what the response was way back when, when it got released…
Nike are brining the Safari into the future, I guess there might be a ‘Back to the Future’ joke in there somewhere? But today’s Safari is built with tomorrows technology (well, today’s technology, but ‘tomorrows’ sounded more exciting). The shoe’s upper has been streamlined using Nike’s ultra-breathable, no-sew Hyperfuse composite material, while the Nike Air sole has been replaced with the comfortable Lunarlon sole with Phylon cushioning. Nike+ capability rounds out the technological upgrades of this legendary sneaker.
The Luna Safari Fuse+ is expected to hit Nike Sportswear retailers in July in Black/White/Crimson, Anthracite/Volt, and Black/Anthracite/Dynamic Blue. I’d be going with the blue, oh and don’t wear ‘em with jeans Jerry. No socks and shorts policy here I believe. Unless you actually intend to use them for training, then do what you will…
