Summer Essentials w/ Michael Quinones
Michael Quinones you ask? He’s the dude that helped bring COMUNE and CHAPTER to life. One thing lead to another and now he’s kick starting another brand – a brand with more of his own control and vibe in it, it’s WAAR (or runts for short) and it’s about to launch in the US and other places I’m yet to find out. Ha. Mike’s a good dude, peek what he’s chasing for summer. Not sure about the boots – mad foot sweat with those for Summer haha
Broken Homme is the only leather boot line that focuses its attention, both aesthetically and within it’s product design, on a consumer that was born skating, surfing, and riding motorcycles. It’s a leather boot that fits great, looks epic, and isn’t something that you feel like you should be walking onto a construction site in.
2 – Poler Rucksack (in Orange of course)
What can be said about Poler that hasn’t already been said a million other times. It’s the FUN in FUNctional accessories and adventure gear. The Rucksack is big enough to keep a warmer weather sleeping bag and one man tent within, a bed roll on the out side, and other misc survival shit in the side pouches. I love this bag, and will def be putting it through it’s paces over the summer (er, your winter).
3 – Infinity EP or Tombstone Shred Sled
Dave and Dan are not only two of the nicest, unpretentious guys I have met, and they make killer shred sleds. Their Retro boards are killer…
4 – My Shovelhead
I bought this bike about 4 years ago and I’ve rebuilt it twice. I just finished rebuilding the tranny which was long over due. I’ve almost gotten to the point of selling it twice to put a bit of cash in the business, but have been talked off the ledge by my good friends and business buddy, Matt Davis.
These shorts are a trip! Yea, so they aren’t 4-way super turkey stretch, but they are made of vintage parachute material from the military circa the 1980′s. Plus, the orange ones are bright enough that your friends can find you when pass out drunk at the beach and wonder off alone.
