Facts first //
Is Dean Sprout and Randy Randall. They are an art, noise, pink band from Los Angeles with deep roots in skateboarding. Their DIY ethic is a sweet lookback to the early 80’s punk underground and they are huge advocates of the All-ages Movement Project, an organization that connects youth to each other and the arts through independent music, drawing similar
parallels with Emerica, and its empowering youth through skateboarding ethos, with skateboarding community events like Wild In The Streets.
Master artist, veteran skateboarding legend and Emerica Pro Ed Templeton has been a long time fan of No Age, and reached out to them to work on a special collaborative project with Ed’s new Emerica shoe – the Archer. Which by the way has a mad sillouhette that I am digging right now, not to mention the mid top….
Ed, Dean and Randy worked closely together on the shoe and developed something quite special! Since Ed, Randall and Spunt are all vegan, the shoe is made up of entirely organic and synthetic materials, but designed to weather the abuse of skateboarding.
The No Age Ed Templeton shoe is extremely limited, and will be available in finer skateshops in October 2009. And will be priced pretty nicely, you should be available to afford given Kevin’s recent stimulus package.
