Uniqlo & Grain Surfboards

I can’t read Japanese, my browser couldn’t translate it and so the long shot guess is (thanks to Mr Tatar) that Uniqlo have tagged up with Grain Surfboards to create a small tee shirt capsule.

What I’m loving about the capsule is the stench of surf coming thru it. Fun slogan’d tees and images of surf stuff (kinda sick of seeing waves or actual surfing shots on tees or any clothing piece for that matter).

Tee’s are the item where a brand can really let their vibe run thru, be serious about your trends and fashion goals on your other categories like pants and shirts if you need be, but always let the fun, less serious side of surfing shine thru on the tee prints – thats where the lifestyle lives on the consumer… Oh and that doesn’t mean palm tees on lemon sorbet shirts either…
