Rip Curl & Skullcandy 4 Mick Fanning

Rip Curl & Skullcandy are back at it again, making sweet collaborational love, to create an interesting product for their lead rider – Mr Mick Fanning. If you have a good memory, you might remember the little headphones that these two produced for the Bells 50th earlier this year.

This project tho, is entirely all about creating something for Mick. In this case, it’s a hoody that has audio in it – meaning, there are two removable speakers in the hood that are connected with an easily accessible iPod/iPhone jack in the pocket. The Hoody is Rip Curl, the Audio tech is Skullcandy. Brilliant marriage. Not the first hoody of this concept to market, but with the mkt power of Skullcandy and Rip Curl behind it and being sold in the US first I imagine this to be a hit.

The photoshoot for the project was shot in NYC during the Quik NY Pro by Steve Sherman. Mick looks like he is having heaps of fun too, just peek that Colgate smile haha
