Reef | Second Summer

Reef in Australia have given us a quick peek into the collection they sliced together for high second summer (which is actually summer given the release dates – November).

It’s Reef, so you’d be excused for expecting a multitude of butts, thongs and other Reef like gimmickry. But it’s not. What it is, is an impressive collection. I’d imagine, given the last two ranges, that we will see more Reef around the traps in the retail scene. Over the last two collections they’ve adapted to recent trends and are putting out a real nice mix of gear that mashes a heavy influence of surf (the bottom turn tee is epic) with various washes, finishes and cuts that are seen in the more street/lifestyle scenes – where it seems the modern surfer is getting a lot of inspiration for their fashion these days…

Either way you look at, this collection from Reef has some rad pieces in it. Key pieces? Take a look at Metric, Seaworthy and Flamingo to help cover the lower section of your rig. And for up top peek the Bottom Turn & Fish vs Fish or maybe even the Port and Wharf if your into the stripes…
