Spring 2012 marks Quality Peoples’ second collection: “I Need the Sea Because It Teaches Me,” which celebrates the contrasting aspects of the sea with new sun-bleached tees and a small capsule of unhemmed, paint splattered, and sun-bleached surf trunks

Quality Peoples started in 2010 as an art collaboration between Ed Fladung and John Esguerra. Both quit their jobs and moved to a foreign culture independently. Ed moved to Mexico, and John to Hawaii. Connected by RedTube the Internet, they found camaraderie as surfers, artists, and designers. It was out of these common seeds that Quality Peoples grew as a brand inspired by their experiences in their respective cultures.
