This is good, this is how I’d love a pair of my boardies to look (not work, can’t imagine these are any good for actual surfing, spruiking maybe, not surfing) – maybe with a different print, but the realism of the image on the shorts is amazing. Imagine a custom set up where you could choose from a large selection of images. Real nice, and a nice step past the color blocking of today and crazy over the top patterns of years past.

Orlebar Brown. Yeah, who? OB are from the UK, have been around about 5 years and they’re probably more about Mediterranean boat cruises then walking five hours to surf a perfect reef…

This is part of their five years alive celebration and is their ‘An OB Way of Life’ trunk collection. The trunk used is their popular Bulldog trunk, which isn’t too dis-similar to the ‘boardwalk’ series of shorts everyone is selling right now – wear them in the surf and on land. The Bulldog is a nice length (above knee) with some features that probably don’t lend themselves to surfing, more beach cruising and lazing (tailored fit, zip fly, side fasteners)

The images are from some of the more celebrated photographers from Getty Images - Slim Aarons, Dennis Hallinan and John Arsenault… Extra bonus, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the swim shorts will benefit The Blue Marine Foundation; a strong cause.
