Insight Winter ’12

Again with the Apple C & V action. Apologies if you were looking for any witty copy, lame grammer or general stupidity. I’m in the middle of packing and need to get out of here or miss a flight – so the copy the below is from the Insight pack of stuff they sent across for their winter collection this year. Probably more informative then/than anything I could write anyway… (PS the red knit w/green back is epic as are the blue pants)

“Insight’s Winter 2012 collection continues to draw inspiration from the cross-pollinating counter culture that resides on the fringes our own fictional collegiate campus. Inspired by radical thinkers and youthful naiveté. This season sees an emphasis on considered patterns in unlikely places, further photographic treatments and experimentation, and the fossil florals from past seasons that continue to self refine with age.

Cut ‘n sew basics, brushed denim fleece, woven and chunky knit combinations all stitched up in this seasons hues; warm mustard browns, dirty port wine reds, rich forest green and royal midnight indigos. Winter highlights include colourblocked sweaters, exploding polka dot dress shirts, woven and knit fleece combination hoodies, the ‘jacquard duster’ and this seasons’ bomber jacket.

This collection reflects a Laissezfaire effortlessness where conflicting patterns, colours and treatments compliment each other in complete ignorance to the textbooks they have been pulled from.”
