Altamont & Zach Hill

Tee’s are an easy way to piece together a collaboration, everyone does it and everyone will keep doing it. But Altamont have done something a little different with their latest project with Zach Hill. See, Zach is quite the drummer (from the band Hella) so as well getting him to design some tee’s, Altamont got him to slice together six exclusive tracks for a CD that I have no idea on how you get hold of. Nice.

Apparently the tee prints were inspired by garbage: “Both of the images that make up the scuzzy shirts come from scanning a garbage bag , blowing it out and making the bag appear metallic or platinum in form.” Ummm, ok. Well yeah, anyway, beyond the tee’s being made from trash, they are available now and they look pretty rad. Hopefully if I buy the tee I get the CD too.
