Behind Empire Lines

MICROSOFT HQ, VIENNA

So a couple of months back I posted on the Lego HQ in Denmark having a slide from the first to ground floor, and that was pimp. This time around, it’s Microsoft Vienna’s opening their doors on their brand new super-green HQ.

The conversion by Innocad has been designed to “harmonise physical, virtual and social working environments” using themes of nature to separate the areas in the most ‘it’s-an-office-but-not’ way possible. Adorned with ‘living’ walls, fish tanks and lots of communal meeting/eating spaces decked out with comfy seating, the office is not only fitted out with a slide, it also has it’s own foosball room. However the master piece would have to be the fully-functioning bar… It would sure to get plenty of use during after work drinks.
