A surfboard make from broken skateboards. Does it get any cooler than that?

Finland has one of the raddest and most passionate surf communities out of anywhere in the world. Maybe because it’s so rugged and cold and you need to put so much effort in to surf, these guys are just entrenched in what they do. This kind of passion can be seen in this project, dubbed RETO by it’s maker Björn Holm.

Collecting old skateboard scraps from friends over the past year and a half, Björn set out to make a 6’4” fish made exclusively from recycled materials. This is the rest. I love it. Watch the clip. Do it. Now.
