Haroshi Kicks

This guy is a genius.

We’ve posted quite a bit of Japanese artist Haroshi’s art before and it’s always good. This latest instalment was displayed at Art Basel 2012 this week. The theme is pretty self explanatory; limbs made from broken skate decks, standing in clear skate shoes. The shoes in question are the Vans Half Cab, Nike Dunk and HUF Hufangel Pro.

I’m loving the different techniques showcased in the woodwork, from pieced mosaics to icecream style swirls.
