DESILLUSION X JJJ

Desillusion magazine teamed up with Benjamin JeanJean, a French artist who’s into just about everything ( Photography – Drawing – Design ) and who is surrounded by an extremely dreamlike and mystical world. This association gave way to the creation of a highly atypical surfboard.

‘Inspired by the mag’s motto “Death of cool’, Benjamin Jean Jean created more than fifty illustrations, each one unique, and then shaped the whole thing himself, which in turn is more than just a board, it’s plain art. The board was shown at an exhibition, last month in Biarritz, France.’

It must have been fukn nightmare putting all those tiny tissue’s on the board. Too much of a hot mix would have killed the whole project. Ha. Boards come out looking pretty damn impressive tho, real nice. These guys continue to pump out unique stuff, I like it.
