Hotel & Rapper x DC

DC have just dropped two new projects into the market. One with a rapper and one with a hotel.

The rapper in question, is Mike Shinoda, long time partner in some pretty amazing DC projects in the past.. So no question there of why they hooked up with him - Mike is a damn good artist, DJ, rapper amongst a slew of other things he can do..

The shoes Mike have just released is in conjunction with a store (i think he has shares in?) in LA - SURU. SURU is based out of LA on Melrose. Or is it Hollywood Blvd? The address escapes me right now. But the shoes are a remix on the DC model, The Xander. A hightop. The shoe has a mix of leather and ballistic nylon, extras include Shinoda art on the footbed and sole of the shoe. Color highlights running thru it are color of the month - Cyan.

The other project is with a hotel - Hotel on Rivington in New York. This is a weird one, teaming up with a hotel? Where’s the vending machine? Anyway, the shoe they played round with is the Admiral and all the hotel gents did was laser etch ‘Hotel on Rivington’ on the outsole of the shoes… Nice simple touch.

Don’t think you’ll be getting a pair of these puppies, they were only made for the staff at the Hotel. Boooo. But you can pick the Admiral Model up in store now, sans laser etching…
