Chris Cote x UNIV
UNIV and Chris Cote, Editor-In-Chief of Transworld Surf Magazine, have joined forces in a surfboard art collaboration.
Chris has painted a board with some of his original art, which is a colourful take on the weapons and contraband featured in popular streetwear prints of late. The surfboard is a progression in design, a four-fin double-ender meant to be ridden both forward and backwards with ease!
As the project rolls out over the year, the “Chris Cote For UNIV” surfboard is going to be shared amongst the world’s top surfers and highlighted in an upcoming issue of Transworld Surf Magazine.
Also to be released is a t-shirt commemorating the art and the project launch.
I’m not sure what’s going to happen to the board eventually, but I reckon it will be worth a pretty penny on the collectors market at some stage.
